Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReelRifter (the "Service"), operated by CD Media, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ReelRifter is a streaming guide and personal watchlist management tool that helps users track, discover, and manage TV shows and movies across various streaming platforms. The Service includes free features and optional paid subscription tiers (Pro and Family).

ReelRifter is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any streaming service, studio, or content provider. Show and movie data is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB).

3. Accounts and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • One person may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Plan

The Free plan allows tracking of up to 50 titles and includes core watchlist features at no charge.

Paid Plans (Pro and Family)

  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice to affected subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service in an automated manner without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Share your account credentials with others (Family plan members get their own profiles)

6. Intellectual Property

The ReelRifter name, logo, and all original content, software, and design elements are the property of CD Media, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Movie and TV show data, images, and descriptions are provided by TMDB under their Terms of Use. All show/movie content rights belong to their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Show schedules, availability information, and streaming data may not always be accurate or up to date.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CD Media, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we reasonably determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the United States.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify users via email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
