The first season of Myanmar Idol premiered on December 11, 2015 and continued until April 8, 2016. It was won by Saw Lah Htaw Wah. The first season was co-hosted by Kyaw Htet Aung, the latter of whom left the show after the season ended.

The second season of Myanmar Idol premiered on December 2, 2016 and continued until March 25, 2017. It was won by Thar Nge. The second season was co-hosted by Kyaw Htet Aung, the latter of whom left the show after the season ended

The third season of Myanmar Idol premiered on April 17, 2018 and continued until August 11, 2018. It was won by Phyo Myat Aung. The third season was co-hosted by Kyaw Htet Aung, the latter of whom left the show after the season ended.

The fourth season of Myanmar Idol premiered on September 6, 2019 and continued until December 28, 2019. It was won by Esther Dawt Chin Sung. The fourth season was co-hosted by Kyaw Htet Aung, the latter of whom left the show after the season ended.
